With years of experience in professional sport and working in one of the worlds most health conscious cities, I set up my Fitness Academy to guide people of the North East step by step to their health and fitness goals.
I spent 4 years as a professional footballer and in this time I learned a great deal in the way of exercise and nutrition and how to get the best out of your body. Nutrition plays a vital role in health and fitness, not only for professional sports people but for anyone wanting to achieve a healthier lifestyle. Without the correct nutrition you cannot expect to achieve the maximum results.
When my football career ended due to injury I gained further knowledge in the health and fitness industry so I could pass my knowledge onto others to help them achieve life changing results. I qualified as a personal trainer, packed my bags and moved to Dubai where I enjoyed a very successful time working as a personal trainer.
Working in Dubai was a priceless experience; I conducted over 1000 1to1 personal training sessions in one year and helped over 50 people achieve their fitness goals. Everyone has to be treated as an individual to maximise results, as what works for one might not work for another.
When I returned from Dubai I took on the role of gym supervisor & personal trainer at the 5 star Seaham Hall Hotel and Serenity Spa. There I continued to develop my skills and helped deliver a 5 star service on a daily basis. It was at Seaham Hall that I set up my first boot camp. They went from strength to strength very quickly and within a year hundreds of people from the North East have achieved great results!

I continue to develop my knowledge every day, whether it is gaining more experience doing personal training, doing courses, reading books or attending seminars. The health and fitness industry evolves very quickly and it is therefore vital that I stay up to date with the latest developments. The way I see it is, the more knowledge I gain, the more I can pass on and use to help my clients achieve truly life changing results.
